Little Learners Puppy Training Course £99.00

Payable upfront in full once you have decided to book the course.

This is a six-week training class for fully vaccinated pups under 24 weeks at the start of the course. Week one is the 45-minute owner seminar without pups, where our trainers will cover venue orientation, vaccination records, equipment for training classes, and goody packs.

We then follow with five weeks of training lessons with pups. Each lesson is 45 minutes long. We will provide practical demonstrations and coach you on how to teach your puppy the exercises listed. You can practice with your puppy with our trainers to guide you through the methods and appropriate techniques.

There is a maximum of six places per course.

During this course, we will teach you to teach your pups the following:

• Teach your puppy to walk nicely on a loose lead and walk past other dogs and people without overreacting.
• Advising you on the best type of equipment to safely walk your puppy without causing fear or pain.
• Learning about dog body language.
• Teach your puppy to return to you when you call them (even around other dogs and people!).
• How to ensure your puppy greets people without jumping up.
• Teaching your puppy to settle when you ask them.
• An introduction to lots of confidence-building activities that will enrich your pup’s life and create resilience.
• How appropriate play with you can create a bond that will last a lifetime.
• Introducing your puppy to clicker training.
• How to focus on yourself in the presence of distractions.
• How to avoid problems over food and toy possessiveness – teaching your pups to happily let go of things without confrontation.
• Teaching your puppy to enjoy handling to prepare them for groomers and vets.
