This course is for dogs who have successfully passed our Little Learners puppy course and Follow On Course or have had at least one private training session with us. There is a maximum of five places per course.
All-Stars builds on what you have taught your dog in our previous lessons. It is ideal for those who want to try new, fun training exercises.
You might have a scent work All-Star in the making, or perhaps your dog is an undercover pro at tricks, and they are just waiting to show you what they can do! Or it might be that they will be future assistance dogs, and you want to get them started on some assistance task training.
During this course, we will teach you to teach your dogs the following:
Week one:
- Confidence building
- Trick training
- Games to play on walks
Week two:
- Loose lead walking
- Introduction to assistance dog tasks
Week three:
- Recall exercises (on and off lead)
Week four:
- Go to the mat and settle
- Chill out games
- Enrichment activities, including scent work
Week five:
- General manners (out and about), including controlled greeting
- Group control
- Manners at doorways
Week six:
- Health checks
- Grooming
- Making handling easier
Week seven:
- Progress update
- Assessments
- Awards

What is included in the price?
Resources
- Goody pack (including a clicker), training methods, and course resources (free e-notes).
- Training lessons every week for seven weeks for 45 minutes at the training venue (with dogs)
We will provide practical demonstrations each week and coach you on teaching your dog the exercises listed. You can practice with your dog with our trainers to guide you through the methods and appropriate techniques.
Certificate and rosette
On week seven and after completing the course and exercises, you will be receive a certificate.
