  • Scared of visitors.
  • Pulling, lunging, and barking at dogs on walks.
  • Difficulty being left alone.

  • Snapping and biting when they have something they do not want to let go of.
  • Chasing lights/shadows.
  • Destructive chewing.
  • Fighting with other dogs.
  • Excessive barking.

How we will help you:

  • We offer behaviour consultations on veterinary referrals. This ensures that your dog does not have an underlying medical condition that could be causing or contributing to the problem behaviour.
  • Our behaviour modification programme uses kind, non-confrontational training methods. Our behaviour treatment programme is comprehensive and supportive, as we know that dog behaviour problems can take time to change, and every dog is an individual with individual needs.
  • We will assess your dog to help you understand why they might behave the way they do and provide you with management advice during the first appointment. This is to ensure that the problem behaviour can be minimised or avoided.
  • At the first appointment, we will get you started on practical training and behaviour modification exercises.
  • You will also receive a complete written plan of action and a diary to record progress.
  • We will contact you every week for updates and discuss developing the plan and moving things forward so your dog has the best chance of behaviour change.

This support is available for three months from the first appointment date.

Online Behaviour Consultation

Fee – £80.00

Vicky has set up a remote dog behaviour consultation option, which has been popularly requested. This service is available to replace a complete home visit. It will allow you to discuss your dog’s behaviour issues, get feedback, and advise on starting behaviour modification. This service will be beneficial for clients wishing to address separation-related problems. It is ideal for getting started if you are currently working from home or off work and at home.

The format for the online consultation is as follows:

  • A one-hour telephone or online video conversation is convenient to discuss your dog’s issues. We can then discuss advice and strategies to address the behaviour problem. Vicky will contact you at an agreed date and time. We are happy to take calls in the evenings and at weekends.
  • After the appointment, you will receive a written action plan with supporting handouts.
  • Weekly check-ins are held three months after the initial consult.
